Kemist Zero
It's still work in progress (fingers crossed!).
I posted a bit about it on bsky: #Kemist
And you can check out its old prototype if you want to know what kind of game it's going to be:
Kemist Web (that old thing)
Compared to Kemist Web, it also features (as of may 2025):
- Smoother animations, at last
- Teal background! (or blue, or black, if you're not into teal)
- Settings: falling speed, theme selection, audio volume and CRT shader called "Eyesore Mode"
- All four powerups from NC (Naturalchemist Classic)
- Inventory: random elements from the board drop after finishing a game
- Different game modes:
- Basic is like Kemist Web - normal game with no powerups
- Powered - all NC powerups can drop, consumes elements from inventory on start
- BD - Boulder Dash inspired mode with smaller board, shorter list of elements and its own custom powerup (Butterfly)
- Other silly spins on Kemist gameplay :3
- Work in progress on spells affecting an in-game world, to give the inventory some more uses beyond just paying to use different game modes
- Also - frogs
