Have you seen this gremlin?

It all started one evening, when i scrolled dumb stuff on my phone in spare time. I found a certain post...
One of Blue Archive meme profiles on Twitter (back when i still browsed Twitter, RIP) posted this image:

Of course some people decided to visit that url, and someone in the comments mentioned that the domain is not registered. Not for long! I decided to see how easy it'd be to do all of this on my phone:

• Registering the domain
• Getting somewhere to host it
• Actually making the page

Domain part was fairly easy. For hosting i decided to go with Neocities, mostly for the step 3. Most of the page was made using Neocities online file editor and upload. After that, i tweaked a lot on a normal keyboard and screen. But majority of Nihahahaha.org has been made over about three evenings on a phone.

The page is kept as simple as possible. No tracking, no credits, nothing except for its primary purpose. Because this is what i wanted it to be - an extremely silly thing, done in spare time, for a quick laugh.

Combined costs of domain and hosting are small enough not to worry about it for years. And the positive upside of this is that i finally got enough of a reason to throw a few dollars at Neocities monthly. Well deserved, i'd say - it lowers the barrier of entry for just putting a bunch of html online. Which is neat!

Also - why Supporter? Because i needed an audio file and custom domain. If you don't need this kind of stuff on a normal Powered By HTML™️ website, Neocities is free to use. Neat x2 combo! c:
